What are the repercussions if I violate the safe practices outlines on the Right-of-Way Use and Construction Permit Policy (includes temporary container placement)?
Violations will result in a warning from Jefferson County. Depending on the severity of the violation, you may be given one week to make corrections. If liquids are draining from the temporary container it will be considered an illicit discharge and immediate action will be required. Failure to comply could result in legal actions and the applicant will be liable for cleanup costs.
