Large animal removal (animals weighing over 100 pounds) on County-maintained roads is the responsability of Road and Bridge's contractor. Please submit a request to Road and Bridge and we will schedule the removal. Large animal removal on State highways, US highway or Interstates should be called in to CDOT at 303-759-2368. Animal Control often removes animals that weigh less than 100 pounds. Animal Control can be reached at 303-271-5070. Loose livestock should be reported to animal control at 303-271-5070 or to the Sheriff's Office directly at 303-277-0211. *Dead animals on private property are the responsibility of homeowner.
