The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners on land use applications, regulations and policies presented by the Planning & Zoning Division. Per Colorado State Statute, the Planning Commission is also charged with making and adopting the county’s Community Plans and Comprehensive Master Plan.
