All electrical installations are required to follow the 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC), effective August 1, 2023, as well as the 2018 Jefferson County Building and Residential Code Supplement. These requirements apply to all new construction, alterations, repairs, and additions, and are enforced to ensure safety and code compliance.
