This code helps prepare new homes and buildings for future energy needs, including electric vehicles, rooftop solar, and high-efficiency electric appliances.
The code will be adopted on April 1st, 2026, and will go into effect on June 30th, 2026. Additional details, requirements, and guidance are available through the Colorado Energy Office.
