If roadway maintenance results in the removal of speed humps, Jefferson County will re-evaluate the roadway against preliminary criteria (please see the Speed Humps webpage, https://www.jeffco.us/3988/Speed-Humps, for details).

If preliminary criteria is still met, the county will survey residents by mail. If 25 percent or more of residents respond as opposed to reinstallation, the county will not reinstall them. Otherwise, the speed humps will be reinstalled at no cost to residents.

However, once the speed humps are removed and not reinstalled for any reason, all subsequent requests are considered new installation.
